  6. This package contains 2 programs, both being derived from programs in my
  7. Control Panel package.

  9. Arfir is a GUI front end for Archie. It allows you to sepcify the options
  10. using a simple interface and then download or view the files by just
  11. clicking on the filename in a listview gadget. To use this program you need
  12. an archie client and ftpget, both of which are available on Aminet.

  14. Newsed3 is a powerful GUI newsgroup editor, amongst its many feature are
  15.  
  16. - add new newsgroups
  17. - selectively import groups from a large newsgroup file such as your
  18.   newsservers active group list.
  19. - displays a small description about each groups
  20. - allows unique signature for each newsgroup when used with Grn
  21.  
  22. This package also contains replacement postnews scripts, so that Grn can
  23. post news correctly, and use the unique signature features.
